Colour that feels like a mood.

The Aura Collection

This Collection includes seven abstract gradient paintings — soft, blurred fields of colour that glow like light through fog. No hard lines, no busy detail. Just a wash of colour that changes the feel of a room the moment it goes up.

Every piece is printed on textured canvas and hand-stretched over a solid wooden frame in our workshop. It arrives ready to hang — no framing, no glass, no glare. One size: A2, because this is a size that holds a wall on its own.

Pick the aura that matches the mood you want: [warm sunset tones for a living room, cool blues for a bedroom, soft pinks for a reading corner]. Or pair two for a calm, gallery-style wall.

FAQs

Aura art is a style of abstract painting built on soft colour gradients; think blurred halos of colour bleeding into each other, inspired by aura photography. It's become one of the most popular modern wall art styles for living rooms, bedrooms, and workspaces because it adds colour without adding clutter.

Unlike a framed poster, a stretched canvas has no glass, so there's no reflection and the colour reads soft and matte from every angle, which is exactly what an aura painting needs. Each Thanksaton canvas is wrapped around a wooden stretcher frame with the image continuing on the edges, so it looks finished without a border.

Yes, and honestly — the bigger, the better. Most of our favourite pieces are custom: a large canvas above a sofa, an oversized print for a stairwell, a set sized to fill one specific wall. Large-format is where our art actually comes alive, so if you're thinking big, we'd love to make it.

Just WhatsApp us on +91 79825 76707 with the size you're after, the design you like, and a photo of your wall if you have one. We'll tell you how the artwork holds up at that size, share pricing, and confirm a timeline before you pay anything.

Custom pieces are made to order, so they take a bit longer than a standard order and can't be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

Where do aura paintings look best?

Living room: A canvas painting naturally belongs above the sofa. A single A2 aura works over a two-seater or a console; above a full sofa, hang two or three side by side with 5–8 cm between them so the colour spans the width of the seating. A warm aura — amber, rust, sunset tones — reads well in a room you use in the evening.
Bedroom: Over the headboard, cool and muted auras do the most work. Blues, lavenders and soft greys keep the wall quiet, which is what you want in a bedroom. Two A2 canvases centred over a queen bed are the easiest way to get the proportion right.
Hallway or entryway: One aura canvas at eye level makes a narrow passage feel deliberate instead of leftover. Because there's no glass on a stretched canvas, there's no glare from overhead hallway lighting — a real advantage over framed prints here.
Study or workspace: Abstract gradient art gives you colour behind a video call without visual noise. A single canvas above the desk, slightly off-centre, beats anything busy.
Cafés, studios and hotel rooms: Aura art scales into a series. Three or more canvases running along one wall in related tones read as a considered installation rather than decoration. We take bulk and custom orders for exactly this.
Gallery wall: An Aura canvas anchors a gallery wall well because it has no competing detail — build your smaller framed prints around it rather than beside it.
